Welcome to Create Space's summer camps, where creativity, exploration, and adventure converge to inspire and empower young minds.
These sessions at the Danvers Art Association welcome students of all ages, offering families the perfect opportunity to engage their artists in hands-on, educational adventures.
Enroll your child in an exciting summer adventure filled with painting, sculpting, and mixed media. Our camp, with its experienced instructors and nurturing environment, is designed to ignite creativity and inspire young artists. Your child will not only explore their talents but also make lifelong friends. Choose from four weeks of creative exploration, each promising a unique experience!

Jewelry Making & Accessories
In this stylish and hands-on camp, kids and teens will dive into the world of jewelry making and accessory design. From beaded bracelets and necklaces to earrings and keychains, each camper will create their own wearable works of art.
But the fun doesn’t stop there—we’ll also design and paint custom jewelry boxes, create beautiful shell trinket dishes, and personalize accessory bags to hold all their handmade treasures. This camp is perfect for budding designers who love to craft, create, and express their unique style.

Under the Sea
Dive into a world of imagination and ocean adventure! In this magical summer camp, young artists will explore the wonders beneath the waves through creative, hands-on art projects.
Campers will paint shimmering mermaids or bold mermen, craft treasure boxes filled with underwater secrets, design their own pirate ships, and sculpt colorful sea creatures like fish and octopuses! Using a variety of art materials and techniques, kids will bring their ocean-inspired visions to life while building confidence and having tons of fun.

Week 3

Artful Animals
Calling all animal lovers! In this wildly creative camp, kids will spend the week bringing their favorite furry, finned, and feathered friends to life through art.
Campers will paint personalized pet portraits, design and sew adorable sock stuffie animals, create cozy pet homes and fun accessories, and craft colorful fish bowls—no feeding required! Using a mix of materials and techniques, they’ll explore their creativity while learning new art skills.
To wrap up the week, we’ll host a special Pet Show where campers can display their amazing creations and celebrate their one-of-a-kind animal companions!

Week 4

Nature’s Canvas
Let the beauty of the outdoors spark your child’s creativity in this nature-inspired art camp! Throughout the week, young artists will explore earthy textures, natural patterns, and outdoor elements as they create stunning artwork that reflects the world around them. From painted landscapes and nature prints to whimsical woodland creatures and leaf-inspired designs, campers will use a variety of art materials and techniques to bring their visions to life.
Please note: while we’ll be drawing inspiration from nature, not all materials used will come directly from the outdoors.
This is a perfect camp for kids who love the natural world and enjoy expressing themselves through art.
